The Poodle is a breed of dog that has 3 specific sizes, Toy, Miniature, and Standard.

They are an extremely intelligence, cheerful dog that is very elegant.

The Toy poodle make ideal apartment dogs and are very easy to train.

The words Standard, Miniature, and Toy are used to denote size only.

Toy Poodle, must be under 11 inches at the shoulders
Miniature Poodle, must be 11 inches to 14 inches at the shoulders.
Standard Poodle, are over 14 inches at the shoulders

Poodles are good with children and other pets and are best kept indoors with regular exercise. Socialization is highly suggested - especially while the dog is a puppy.

Poodles do well in a Condo or in a home and are very good for those people that suffer from asthma or allergies.
