The Shih Ton is a hybrid of the Shih Tzu and the Coton de Tulear. The mixing of the 2 breeds give us a unique dog with a very pretty look and excellent behavioural and temperament traites.

The Shih Ton is a calm and happy breed that is low energy and very, very sweet and loving. They have a sweet natured temperament and very friendly and trustworthy companions.

Shih Ton are very affectionate and make are great with children and very intelligent and easy to train.

They can vary in size, depending on the size of their parents, and their usual weights can range between 9 to 14 pounds.

They do not require extensive exercise, but would love to be walked somewhat regularly. Most of their daily excercise requirements could be met indoors

The Shih Ton is a non-shedding breed and is concidered to be hypo-allergenic. Asthma sufferers or those with animal allergies will find them less likely to cause irritation.

They will require regular grooming with a hair cut every 6 to 8 weeks.
